City View

Inoculum

A square of agar. Growth begins in the center.

Dummy cabinet. No blight. Watch a city colonize a plate the way a culture does — rings of age, dialects of roof, a highway when the colony is ready.

Core, then leap

Starts as one body, then leapfrogs — sprawl, then a daughter town.
